Green cleaning

Custodial Services is diving into MSU’s Be Spartan Green environmental stewardship initiative and is leading the way with new techniques and technology. Already using green cleaning products, the department is now using equipment that does not use any chemicals.

Over the past few years, we have:

Implemented use of a chemical-free floor cleaner
Made increased recycling a top priority
Reduced the amount of chemicals sent down campus drains
Lowered water consumption and electricity usage
