A: Yes. Set-Up has an inventory of nearly 400 folding chairs, as well as 225 6-foot-30-inch tables.
A: It costs $2 per day to rent tables and 35 cents per day to rent chairs.
A: The department has two set-up forklifts, four box trucks and two flatbed trucks.
A: Yes. Set-Up provides, in addition to chairs and tables, risers for student-led events, such as those held by the Red Cedar River.
A: "Unlockers” are the building service workers who unlock the campus buildings each day. They are trained to respond to emergencies (including floodings or clean-ups) as needed. Unlockers often start working at 5 a.m. to prepare campus for MSU employees and students. If an unlocker is needed for a special event, the cost is determined per incident.
